Are 9 follicles enough to proceed with ivf?

My doctor said he would grade the process thus far as a c/c+. He also said he would be on the verge of canceling it if I was not paying cash. His thought being is that we already put out $5000 for meds and a few more for blood work and ultrasound. He said that we still have a decent probability and it only takes one egg. However, he followed it up with that he will change the protocol if there is a next time. He mentioned I should have roughly 2 20mm, 3 18mm, 3 15mm, a couple 14mm and smaller follicles at time of retreival. We are 2/3 days away from the trigger shot. We are using ICSI. Would you move forward or just convert to iui?
