Is my fertility specialist bad for not telling me of metformin? i have pecos! please answer!?

i was going to a fertility specialist and did all the studies and i have pcos and im insulin resistance so i rarely get a period i did two failed iui's and i was very disappointed and did not want to try another try then reading across the internet i found out about metformin i have an appointment with my obgyn tomorrow to get on this treatment i feel my fertility specialist should have mentioned this *** well *** my old obgyn how did any of these two expect me to get pregnant if i have too much insulin and out of balance hormones i feel my fertility specialist betrayed me by not telling me i feel she just wanted my money i obviously would have had better chances with my hormones back on track and insulin what do you think am i wrong to feel this way? thank you
