Advice? Not sure what to do at this point.?

Ok so I met this guy volunteering. He was in charge of the volunteers. I thought he was cute for awhile however he's 9 years older than me. One night I volunteered without my family and we had a good conversation when he was helping me last December. This volunteer work is about six weeks every dec./nov. On the weekends. I began to see him as s brother. Someone who cared about me and I could talk to. In January he went to calif. For 3 months for an academy to become a ranger. He said before he left we could go to lunch however he got pneoumia and couldn't :( I texted him right around the time he was due home and he responded after a week saying he was well and home soon. When I knew he wad home and settled I texted him again (April) no response. I tried a few times after that and nothing. He told me to keep in touch in December!! I soon found out he got a seasonal job in Delaware and I've texted him about that and no response. Mind you ive known him 3 years. I'm only texting him once a month. What should I do?
