Can you please tell me whats going on with this guy? (its worth reading (: )?

So I really like this guy and he likes me back because he told my friend he did and she kept asking him for ages and he said yes every time, and I know shes not lying. So this other guy that's in my class said he asked the guy I like if he liked me back and he said no and stuck his fingers in his mouth, so I got really sad because I thought he was embarrassed of me, so I got my friend to ask him if he likes me in front of people and see if he says no, and he said "NO!" so then my friend said, that's what I thought your embarrassed of her, and he said, "what?" so then my friends talked to him at lunch time (btw this is at school (: ) and asked why he said no and he said because I go out with someone else so then I got really sad and then after half an hour my friend went up to him and said, you don't like brittany right, and he was like, brittany? yes of course I do ! and then she said well you said you didn't before in front of those people and he said, no I didn't say I didn't like her you can ask me in front of people and I will say yes , shes not embarrassing, and now im really confused he said he didn't say no but he did ! grr guys are so confusing hes giving me mixed up signals and in really confused, what should I do..?
