Does Clomid effect BBT?

I have PCOS so my doc wanted me to do a round of Clomid (50mg), Ovidrel, and an IUI. This is the first time I have taken Clomid. I finished my pills two days ago and I started charting my BBT yesterday. Normally my BBT is always very low at around 96.7 or 96.8. But for the past two days its been 97.4 and 97.2. Do you think that this could mean that the clomid is working? I have been having hot flashes a bunch ever since I started taking this stuff and on the 97.4 day I woke up sweaty and hot! Just curious if it means I am on the right track for ovulation or not.
