How long after doing a HSG test can i get IUI?

TTC for 19 months and doctor has not seen any problems. Having a HSG end of June early July to make sure my tubes are not bloacked. How long after the HSg should i wait to have a IUI done? Im told three months. BUt i want to hear others experience.
